Following the season-long lockout of 2004-2005, the NHL returned to action with some farily substantial adjustments to the rulebook, and perhaps a bit more subtle, but still influential shift to Reebok as the manufacturer of choice for NHL jerseys.  For two years, Reebok manufactured jerseys for the Predators that were remarkably similar to those from the CCM/Koho offerings from seasons prior, but with updated brand tagging and the permanent addition of the sabre-toothed tiger skull shoulder patches found first on their infamous 'Mustard' thirds.
